Tripod quality question - i'm thinking about getting the Slik Pro 700DX AMT-Titanium Alloy Tripod with 3-Way? - quality of slik tripods
Pan Head. Is this a good tripod for Canon 40D with Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM wide angle lens? It is taken internally and externally and did not want to spend more than that on a tripod. Thanks for the help!

They have an excellent choice. Buy it.
I use this tripod in the studio and on a permanent basis in a manner that the head hold and drag the entire head, live drops. It is easy to repair, so if you are willing to do, go ahead. This is a minor annoyance.
